I only actually know of one dollar store where everything is $1. Every other "dollar store" Sells things at any price, its no better deal than going to any other store.

I went to two such stores in Canada and there a $1 is worth about 40p.

And the stuff you could get for one Canadian Dollar was amazing.

Although there I think it was $1 plus their tax, but still amazing value.. there was one item some item someone I knew ad asked me to get and it was about £25 here inthe Uk and saw it inthe $1 store with an extra set of batteries as well.

Went to a different town for shopping and they also had a £1 shop, had even more stuff then our local one.

They had 13 tubes of super glue for £1

The even had pregnancy testing kits for a £1

Also got two LED keyrings (2 in a pack) each with their own 3volt battery - so 50p each .. which was good considering every other place I've been to just for the batteries it usually costs more then £1 for the battery.

My Dad would! He's forever buying them from the pound shop. You can really only use the tube once though cos it's that crap.

But at that price do you really care.

£ shops are great for things like parties, you can get loads of paper plates etc... really cheap and it does not matter, as you are throwing them away anyway after the party.

I saw one of those all in one remotes but there was no packaging on it - do you know if it will control a Sky+ Digi box?

Have you ever seen anyonethat's finished a whole tube of superglue?

The contents usually hardens up or the tube splits, - and this is every make of superglue .. I didn't but any super glue - I got 4 tube of epoxy glue for £1 but really it's only 2 cos the way epoxy glue works is you need to mix tube different tubes together and only then it becomes sticky.
