HIT-AND-RUN - Man fights for his life
A MAN was today fighting for his life after being attacked and then deliberately run over by a car in the city centre.
Hundreds of pub-goers looked on in horror as the terrifying incident unfolded at about 11pm last night.
Police said they believed the
31-year-old victim who has not been identified was stabbed when he got into a fight with two other men outside Yates s wine bar in Broadway.
He then fled to nearby Northminster, but as he crossed the road, he was mown down outside The Solstice pub by a red car, which sped towards him, and then screeched away from the scene.
The man was rushed to Peterborough District Hospital suffering from serious head injuries.
Today, he was in a serious condition in intensive care.
Northminster was today closed off as scenes of crime officers began combing the area for clues to the attack.
Blood could clearly be seen on the road and the pavement.
It was not known when the busy road would be re-opened.
Police immediately began studying CCTV footage from outside The Solstice and other city centre cameras.
Inspector Steve Selves said: "Obviously, at that time of night, there was a lot of people about in the area.
"Anybody with information that would help us in our enquiries should contact us."
lAnyone with information should contact police on 01733 563232.
What the press have not said (we mustn't be racist must we) is the attackers were asians.(I'll bet that it is the Pakistani's again, if I'm wrong I'll donate some loot to a local charity))
They have already killed one white boy and now another white has been attacked but it's the asians who are screaming for protection, oh I forgot only whites are racist.

Ahh, you've shown your self up as the stupid racist that you are.
We all have the right to our own opinions and the events you describe are most certainly tragic. However, I'm glad that we are all in agreement here that this bulletin board is not a forum for airing racist views towards any one particular racial or ethnic group.
