Animal Organs

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
If you were offered the chance to have an animals organ if you needed a transplant, would you take it?

many people i have spoken to would refuse to on the grounds of: religious reasons, social, animal rights reasons etc

i was just wondering what ppl would do <IMG alt="image" SRC="biggrin.gif" border="0"> <IMG alt="image" SRC="biggrin.gif" border="0"> <IMG alt="image" SRC="biggrin.gif" border="0">

Absolutly...not religious, eat too much meat to complain on the basis of animal rights and socially... ya couldn't tell the difference.

    Unless it was an external organ. <IMG alt="image" SRC="eek.gif" border="0"> <IMG alt="image" SRC="wink.gif" border="0">

    Gee thanks,
Glad to see all Americans are lumped together

On the subject of the post, my grandfather lived for almost 20 years with a pig heart valve, didn't do him any harm.

I don't think that I would, being a veggie anyway, I don't really agree with killing animals for such a cause, and I wouldn't reaaly fancy it anyway, because you can just imagine the animal on its farm... so basically NOPE <IMG alt="image" SRC="smile.gif" border="0">
