Do you have the thing there where under a certian amount when using a debit or credit card you don't have to sign?

When it was at $5 I thought it was pretty cool. Now the last few times I've been shopping I've bought just about $15 (8.4 pounds) and they don't require a sig for that either anymore. Not sure if I like the convience or am weary of it cuz I know I'm bound to lose my card soon.

Opinions?

it is possible to take payment when customer is not present tho using a PDQ machine, places like hotels and stuff use this sometimes. but if the customer is there a pin or sig is always needed

Most places don't accept signitures here anymore, it's chip and pin all the way.

At Tesco if you use the machine and scan the stuff yourself you don't need a pin or to sign when you pay by card.
