Fave lines from TV programmes

Just what the title says. A variation on the favourite scene post.

Some of mine are (they may not be word for word):

"How're you doing?" from Friends
"This is where the messers become the messees" again from Friends
"Do they know we know they know?" from same episode

(hey, do you think I could make another topic entitled "do I watch too much Friends"?)

Let the contributions begin!!!

    Deadwood

"If I bleat when I speak it's because I just got fuckin' fleeced"

"Get a fucking haircut. Looks like your mother fucked a monkey.."

    The Sopranos

Tony: "I wipe my ass with your feelings.."

Tony: Maybe I should tap into my roots, too. My grandmother was half Indian.
Christopher: Get the fuck out of here.
Tony: No, it's true. She was in the Fakawee tribe.
    Christopher: Oh, yeah?
Tony: Yeah. When they used to get lost in the woods, they stopped and said "Where the Fakawee?"

Tony: Vito, you did tell the police you didn't know who did this, right?
Vito: Please. I may be distressed, but I know how to keep my mouth shut.
Ralph: Unless there's a big tuna sandwich around!

And one especially for this quote thread... :p

Bobby: To the victor goes the spoils!
Tony: Now, get the fuck outta here before I shove that quotation book up your fat fucking ass!

    Also, from I'm Alan Partridge:

"Sonia, that was classic intercourse. So, thanks"

    :thumb:

    "Cashback!"

    "Butter my arse!

"Dan! Dan! Dan! Dan! Dan! Dan! Dan! Dan! Dan! Dan! Dan! Dan! Dan! Dan! Dan! Dan!"

    etc. Love it!

"Rude alert! Rude alert! An electrical fire has knocked out my voice-recognition unicycle! Many Wurlitzers are missing from my database! Abandon shop! This is not a daffodil! Repeat, this is not a daffodil!"

    Red Dwarf, gotta love it!

God, there are so many Friends ones I can think of, that it's not even amusing.

    My favourite has to be:

Joey: "Well this is just summer in a bowl!" when hes shown the pot pourri.... it just reminds me how much I laughed when I first heard it

    The Royle Family...

Jim Royle's getting ready to go to the pub

Jim Royle: "Get your coat on love"
Barbara Royle: "Why are you taking me with you?"
Jim Royle: "No - I'm turning the heating off"

    Harvey Birdman:

"Hmm. It says here that if a person's not married by the time he's 35, he's got a better chance of being robbed at gunpoint by a desperate and somewhat bloated Christian Slater."

"I'm gonna raise the warning system from "Blackwatch Plaid" to the cover of Rush's seminal album "Moving Pictures"."

    Aqua Teens:

"A car cannot be killed, Frylock. It was murdered."

"Plaque is a figment of the liberal media and the dental industry to scare you into buying useless appliances and pastes. Now, I've heard the arguments on both sides, and there is nothing to convince me of the need to brush your teeth."

"It's like the Thunderdome in here. Only... Two men enter, no man leaves. Starring Mel Gibson... and Master Blaster."

"You are the gayest monster since GAY came to Gaytown!

I can't think of one at the moment that makes me laugh/cringe more than this one.

    David Brent - The Office.

'Don't say that! All money collected is for BOTH dances, both equally good dances, mine was impromptu but you shouldn't get extra points for that!'

I'm with you on the cringing...

    Futurama

"Call me old fashioned but I like a dump to be as memorable as it is devastating."

"Everybody's a jerk. You, me, this jerk."

"You're watching Futurama, the show that doesn't condone the cool crime of robbery"

"The best way into a girl's bed is through her parents. Have sex with them, and you're in."

"Why'd you open your bong hole you smelly hippy? You'd sacrifice a beautiful woman to save a moderately attractive monkey?"

    Ah, I love it.

    Red Dwarf

Kryten: "Are you sure you want to switch to red alert sir, it would mean changing the bulb..."

Kryten:"They've taken Mr Rimmer! Sir, they've taken Mr Rimmer!"
The Cat: "Quick! Let's get out of here before they bring him back!"

    Blackadder

Most of the one liners from it but i particularly like:

Commander Flasheart: "If word gets out that I'm missing, 500 girls will kill themselves and I wouldn't want them on my conscience - not when they ought to be on my face!"

Oh there are far too many Alanisms to choose from.
"Mousse from a bowl is nice but to put it on a person is demented!"
    "Jurrassic Park!" (to mean "brilliant")

    Loads from Futurama, too...

Walter Koenig: "When we woke up, we had these bodies."
    Fry: "Say it in Russian."
Walter Koenig: "Ven ve voke up, ve had these vodies."
    Fry: "Now say 'nuclear wessels'."
    Walter Koenig: "NO. "

Bender: Bite my shiny metal ass.
Fry: It doesn't look so shiny to me.
    Bender: Shinier than yours, meatbag.

Fry: "I'll be whatever I want to do"

Fry: "Did everything just taste purple for a second..?"

    Blackadder

Blackadder: 'I know from long experience all my men have the artistic talent of a cluster of colour-blind hedgehogs in a bag.'

Blackadder: 'I smell something fishy, and I'm not talking about the contents of Baldrick's apple crumble.'

    Yay! Futurama love. :hyper:

"Its just like the story of the grasshopper and the octopus. All year long the grasshopper kept burying acorns for winter while the octopus mooched off his girlfriend and watched TV. Then the winter came, and the grasshopper died, and the octopus ate all his acorns and also he got a racecar. Is any of this getting through to you?"

"I did do the nasty in the past-y."

"Everyone's always in favour of saving Hitler's brain. But when you put it in the body of a great white shark, ooohh! Suddenly you've gone too far!"

"Oh, they say madness runs in our family. Some even call me mad. And why? Because I dared to dream of my own race of atomic monsters, atomic supermen with octagonal shaped bodies that suck blood..."

I'm not going to get any work done now I've found a Futurama quote site...

Kif: "Captain, may I have a word with you?"
    Brannigan: "No."
    Kif: "It's an emergency, sir."
Brannigan: "Come back when it's a catastrophe" *bang* "Oh very well ..."

Brannigan: "Don't blame yourself, Kif. We were doomed from the start. Nothing remains now but for the captain to go down with his ship."
Kif: "Why that's surprisingly noble of you, sir."
Brannigan: "No. It's noble of you, Kif! As of now, you're in command."
    Kif: *sigh*
    Brannigan: "Congratulations, captain!"

"The temperature inside this apple turnover is one thousand degrees. If I squeeze it, a jet of molten bramley apple will squirt out. Could go your way; could go mine. Either way, one of us is going down.

Say this one really quickly in Cartman's voice:

"It's a man's obligation to stick his boneration in a women's separation; this sort of penetration will increase the population of the younger generation. "

From the most excellent Peep Show.

Mark Corrigan: That's great; I've dumped my sister. That feels good. I wonder what I'm going to do next? Maybe I'll ring up Grandad and tell him I think he's a boring twat.

Actually, come to think of it, most things from Peep Show are hilariously funny.

Spaced the classic..'what a prick' line. I say it so much. Saddo that I am.

Blanche from Corrie. I  her

    Blanche talking about Frankie:
"She's got more front than Woolworths".

    On Todd Grimshaw coming out...
    "It'll be them 6th Form colleges...full of ho-mo-sexuals"

Another fave is when she told Ken and Deirdre: 'Good looks are a curse. You and Ken should count yourselves lucky!'

That character is so understated hehe
