Increasingly, the Tories have no policy on any issue whatsoever. Their worse than useless leader, David Cameron's only policy is say anything whatsoever to any crowd to make sure they vote for you, then do exactly the same as New Labour are doing now. In other words, nothing.

Anyone can spout meaningless drivel saying "we need to change". Change to what? What on earth is he on about?

Blair never ever explained himself, he just did things out of the blue, Cameron will do the same and thus get elected...probably.

What, you're asking Tony Blair to explain himself? Goodness gracious, no. Tony Blair is only answerable to higher forces. He has the direct phone line to God, remember? :p

kinnock started the huge changes to the labour party then smith ...it was eleven years of change.
ditching core values like state ownership and nuclear disarmament.
are the tories willing to put that much effort into bringing themselves up to date i wonder.

    Rubbish.

Kinnock started it. Look back at Kinnock's top names in the late 1980s, the same people who run NuLab were there then. People like Blair, Blunkett, Brown, even Mandelson. They were all there, gurning.
