As for respect for other cultures... Hey, evolution takes a while. Give 'em a few thousand years and perhaps they'll evolve into a more responsible species. Perhaps.
The BNP respect other peoples cultures. They just don't want it here.
I'm glad they got alot of votes, It proves that democracy works. There are lots of people out there who have these misguided moronic views and don't get the chance to voice them in an election(how many areas did they stand in?)so the truth gets hidden.
Naturally, I am even happier that they didn't get anyone elected. Because, basically I think they are scum but I would defend their right to be scum.
the problem with organisations like the BNP is that they themselves dont commit or overtly incite violence - if they did they could be shut down in a flash. instead, their 'activists' play on people's fear and ignorance, and in times of crisis (such as recently in oldham) are able to turn otherwise logical people in to racists. tis a great shame that this happens, but that's one of the prices we pay for democracy.
BNP support will never be sufficiently large to gain a single seat at westminster, and i dont think they post european candidates. so, to all intents and purposes they're just a stupid extremist minority.
if they truly believe in the 'go back to where you came from' theory, they'd all better fuck off back to scandinavia and northern germany, and leave the UK to the celts. thats how much logic they posses.
it's even worse in switzerland. the morons that choose and get to express their views are often also the majority.

I think its clear that the only reason they got so many votes(16% in east Oldham) is because both the whites and asians in the area are having the others culture forced upon them. The Pakistanis and Bangladeshis want to keep hold of their traditional values, religion(Islam) etc and are on the whole reluctant to sign up to the British way of life. The whites in the area are feeling threatened because the Muslims insist on being so different and setting up a little Pakistan in northern England.
Of course it could just be the meddling fools who get involved in anything where race is involved, Anti Nazi League, NF etc etc.
I've always thought there would be far fewer racist problems if we could get rid of the 'community leaders' and just let the people on the street sort it out rather than letting the polititians in.

Bringing them in certainly fractured british society...or so it appeared from here in US...where our own home grown tyrants have taken to social engineering and effectively destroyed the public school system in US...children bussed for hours each day to achieve an unidentifiable agenda resulting in abandoning public schools to the 'public' and demographic moves to defeat 'court' orders which offend all races.
Didn't the Magna Carta grant to subjects of the crown the right to a Jury Trial? I find it incredible that Tony Blair is trying to get rid of such an ancient institution...and wonder 'why' he would do such a ting.
Currently in US we are plagued by a doctrine called 'communitarianism' which is being pushed by 'some' in all levels of government...it is nothing less than X-rated socialism (communism) designed to appeal to the weak minded and poorly educated...another attempt by a democrats to commit suiside.

Please, and this is not intended to offend, but would you consider posting what are considered 'racist' terms over there...makes it much easier to avoid insult when none are intended. After all, if I insult someone it seems only appropriate that either I intend to do so and it not be by default.
(A current explamation of what the 'offending' term means today would be helpful.)

although some of their ideas that a british person is a white person, are quite dated, they do have the right idea that we can't be seen as an easy target for immigrants etc
btw, "offensive" terms would just be the likes of "wogs", "niggers"...in fact im not too sure anymore
