    From what I've seen, there are always a lot of guests looking. Sometimes, there are over 140 guests on one forum, unless my eyes are playing tricks with me.

    I know they're always saying about raising money, a single row of text ads along the bottom of the forums wouldn't bother me in the least and I actually find a lot of google ads useful.

    Not really. We regularly see them in three-figures. Think it might depend on which way the wind is blowing, and what I had for breakfast - some days we see a handful at a time, others we seem to get flooded.

    Guests are normally people that have found various threads thru a search engine such as ask or google. I'm sure we've been over this hundreds of times before.

    Search engines use them to crawl the internet - they load a page in the same way as a web browser would, though rather than render it for you to read, they parse through it and work out how important it is, and what subject it is about. It then gets thrown into the database used for the search engine, and can be returned to the user when a relevant search comes up.

    Yes. Zalbor and I are the spiders assigned to monitor your pathetic human nature through these boards. So far we have learnt how to bitch at each other, argue, swear, and worry about the world.

    We are not scared of the Kleenex. Last year I spidered a site about fires, and I know how to overcome the power of tissue paper! Mwahahaha! :shocking: :shocking: :shocking:

    Thanks for the tip! That's a fine place to begin world domination.

    As for Tony and George, I took care of them. I spent the weekend inventing a human-killing spray. It worked wonders, though maybe I should make it a little less powerful... Every human in the bus that was behind Tony and George when I sprayed them died too.
