    yeah, Hardcore is a genre of music that (to my knowledge) origionated on the East Coast of the US. It sounds sorta like a mix of punk and metal.

    hardcore is usually used to refer to mental hard dance music over here, as you can tell by the above mp3 :) stuff you couldnt possibly dance to for very long without being on drugs :lol:

    that said, I expect people who were more into punk/metal scene would know what you meant :)

    I couldnt get the video to work, but a bit of hard punkrock is always fun

    You don't need drugs but they help.

    Hardcore's a European thing, it's not just here. And it doesn't always have a stupidly fast BPM.

    I can listen to hardcore dance when I'm sober and really enjoy it.

    Erm I like fugazi if they qualify as hardcore punk.
