What are you going to do, hit me with your "little purth"? Seems you are in the need of the education, as your perversion of preference is NOT the norm, but puts you in a distinct minority.

You are only three thousand miles off mark, but that is MUCH closer than your estimation of who and what I am.

PS ~ remember to bring sufficient international postage so that you can be mailed back home. Do not want you to polute the soil over here...

Well done Soap, youve managed to prove yourself a child.

Bye the way, it was Thanatos-jr that is forced to be in N. Carolina. But I live in the barracks (thankfully with heterosexuals) and I work with the National Security Agency. But that was probably to much info for you to handle, so I'll stop

"The problem is that most of the anti-gay posts aren't based on fact but on prejudice, misinformation and stereotypes. That is all you have proved. I think that you have also (nearly all at some point) said that being openly gay is the problem, and that if sexuality is kept personal then there is no problem."

But yet I still have yet to see you prove why gays and lesbians should be able to voice their sexuality in the military. I still need to see you prove why gays and lesbians deserve any special recognition from society, both governmental and civilian.

"As to Bezerker and co i have absolutely no doubt that they are all red blooded ,gun toting ,commie hating all american butt-fucking faggots.
    But i could be wrong."

Well, let's see. I know Berzerker (aka Thanatos) but I don't tote a gun in civilian life, unless it is to stay proficient in order to defend my country, I am not a commie, or I would not be serving in the US Armed Forces, and I don't hate all gays and lesbians. I just don't approve of their lifestyle, nor do I approve of their constant need for attention from the world at large.

So yes, you are wrong. You have no idea what you are saying, instead you are just babbling some nonsense in order to start something that can't truly be finished because of the anonymity that rules this site. Don't you ever dare to question the loyalty that I have toward my country, or the loyalty of my fellow Soldiers and Marines (past and present) have to their country. Unlike you, we know the true meaning of Honor and Respect, both towards our country and the rest of the human race. But in this case, it is where I have no honor nor respect for people like you, who assume the wrong things, and fail to actually think before speaking. You are the type that would hide their face instead of standing up when called upon to defend and serve. Until you have something useful to say and to add to this post, keep your mouth shut and learn what it means to be a real human being.

Ah, looks like I've been given some homework too. Soon as I get a hold of a Bible, I will post a message. Make no doubt about that.

As far as uniforms, NOW you are going to judge the competence of a military unit by the parameters of the Women's Daily section? LMFAO! As to the Spartans, well, they fell victim to their hedonism, so you might want to re-think that...

Loads of Right-Wing Tory MPs get caught in bed with their 19 year old male "researcher" the day after making some crazy homophobic speech in the house-re Baxter Basics.
Now you are going to hold me responsible for the degeneration of BRITISH POLITICOS? You are MANY thousands of miles off base! It seems that it is the Brits that enjoy dancing with the homos, not Marines! LMFAO!

re: GI Jane's response to you...
How does it feel (soapy) to be so PATHETICALLY in the dark. In the dark? Hmmm? Does that suggest that your head is reposited in an anatomically inappropriate orifice? Did you get the little head and the big head mixed up AGAIN? LMFAO!

I haven't had this much laughter since last watching Monte Python... but THAT was INTENDED to be a farce!

I have never suggested that homosexuals deserve special treatment, in fact I agree that this would be peverse.

What I am arguing for is equality.

Homosexuals are banned from military service as soon as their sexuality becomes public knowledge. Does this happen to heterosexuals?

    Why SHOULD they remain mute?

Surely this is the ultimate in PC - don't admit you are gay, you might upset/offend the heterosexuals...

Why? Because heterosexuals don't go around revealing their sexual life either. It is about privacy and about mission orientation, not sexual orientation. Knowing what we do with our wifes and husbands has nothing to do with the mission of the military, so we do not carry on about it. Neither should homosexuals. Homosexuals have equal opportunity in the military. We would be in trouble if they didn't. We aren't asked our sexual orientation when we enlist, they shouldn't have to feel the need to volunteer it.

Of course not - it's an assumed norm.

Wives and husbands is a bit of a clue - married quarters on base, might give someone the impression that the residents are heterosexual...I think that having children is a pretty good indicator too...

Do homosexuals have quarters for their partners (noting that they aren't legally ALLOWED to be married anyway)?

Have you NEVER heard one of your company mention any sexual conquests?

Get real, there isn't equality. If your commanding officer found out that you were actively heterosexual would you be discharged from the army? At the moment homosexuals DO get special treatment - it just of a negative nature...

Its not a question of keeping quiet ... we have to tell ppl otherwise it gets 2 much 4 us, wen i was in the closet and hadnt told ne1 i was crying all the time and was so depressed, then i came out 2 my good mates and i felt so much better about myself it was such a relief. Would u be ablle to bear not being able to talk about ur gfs? or bfs? i doubt it. we have as much right to happienesss as any of u, so leave us alone, we just wanna live a predjudice free life and be able to go round without haveing to keep it a secret all the time.

    Frogwoman,

I suggest you read the title of the thread...Youve replied to a totally different issue.

If you wanna talk about homosexuality and its place in society as whole then start a new thread..This one is dead.
