Just for a bit of fun, I just wanted to ask you this. What is the best newspaper front page you have ever seen? And which is the worst, for any reason? It can be from any newspaper in the country.
Answering my own questions first. The best one I've ever seen was probably on the Daily Mirror on September 12th, 2001. Their front page caption was "War on the world" which seemed to sum up the terrorists intentions perfectly.
As for the worst ever, there's quite a few contenders from the Daily Express and the Daily Mail. The Express's "Ban Hoodies off the streets" one was awful, but the worst in tabloid history was when David Beckham broke his foot. The Sun published a huge picture of his ugly right foot on the front page, urging readers to touch it. :yuck:
Over to you before I throw up...

I love their Christmas lights outrage at the top, too.
"the daily express puts a stop to baa baa rainbow sheep"
That's the one! I'd forgotten about the indespensable "Christmas banned" battlecry of the tabloids.
There is not much more you could ask of a front page
I know what you mean, it was pretty harsh though seeing the timeline of the terrorists actions.
