I get most of my news online from www.guardian.co.uk - not really because of my political persuasions, but because they have a very comprehensive website. BBC news online is also quite good (news.bbc.co.uk). The Times too (www.timesonline.co.uk).

I watch News24 sometimes, and obviously radio news bulletins.

when I get up in the mornings I tend to put GMTV on to get the news, then I'll read the newspaper and watch the new at night again.

Most of my news sources are online ones, because of my access...

Generally, BBC online, CNN.com, Reuters/AP if I'm bored, and the Times online.

Daily mail and the Guardian every morning

BBC, yahoo, CNN news websites daily.

News24 or ITV 24 hour channel is on pretty much all day in the background.

I get my news from radio reports, teletext, and the internet (usually the BBC news website). I do sometimes watch news programmes, and I read the Telegraph, but these don't usually tell me things I haven't already heard elsewhere.

I always try to watch the morning news, if I hear something interesting then I will search for it online (just making a search), or look out for it in a paper called "politiken".

Or just what appears on links and so.

Business Breakfast, or whatever they call it now, the Guardian, and sometimes the Times or Telegraph (if I've got a lot of free periods that day), and then Newsnight.

BBC online or teletext (depending what I can access) for "breaking" news.

In terms of news magazines, Private Eye and sometimes New Statesman.

BBC or Channel 4 News. Can't stand Sky.

    The Guardian for printed matter.

Wouldn't touch a tabloid with a ten-foot pole. They should not be allowed to call themselves newspapers anyway, for they mostly carry stories that are not real news, and when they do it is severely distorted in order the reflect the owner's views.

    BBC Online/whichever O'Clock news
    Occasionally the Mail on Sunday
ITV news (although its more lightweight)
Derby Evening Telegraph for local gubbins
