If he behaves whilst in prison, he'll be out in around 4.5 years...

I agree with JsT; he should be locked up for life.

    so true.
this guy will be home in four years instead of rotting forever in his wee cell.

but ...if they catch the guys who just stole money ...different story ...twenty five years each.
    money is king.

    oh my god that's horrible.

i remember reading a while ago about a man who raped a baby. can't remember how old it was but think it was only a few months.

and then there's the story in the news at the minute about that 2/3 month old baby boy killed by his dad who was jealous of the attention his son was getting from the babies mum.

The mum got a sentence as well I think, for neglect and not protecting the baby.

bullet :p its a paradox situation...they don't deserve to be cared for but we're not allowed to kill them, they can't be left to roam free either

I'd say putting them to death - but then if we were to do that we'd be just as bad as them lot...

i wouldn't say the death penalty was an option really!

and yes it's unfair taxpayers pay to keep them behind bars but it's better than them being on the streets.

the reality is ...they won't be well looked after.
look at shipman and huntley and most of the others of their ilk ...they all try as hard as possible to kill themselves.
    shipman managed to do it.
    he escaped.

why do you think they would rather die than serve that sentence?

This story in the news this week was of a hit-and-run driver who killed a three year old girl in a stolen vehicle that he was driving with no license and he only got 3 months in prison. Obviously a completely different crime to the article nihilisticmadman posted but shocking sentence none the less.

    that one is indeed shocking.
the judge should be thrown in jail.
the car was stolen ...he could have given him two years just for that.
he could have given him a year for no insurance ...

the judge should be locked up.

She should be hung by his fucking balls.

Or i'd just chop his cock off, and let him live. He should suffer, and never be able to do anything like that again again. People like this appal me.

at my uni last year we talked to a prison officer and he said he actually tells rapists and the like, particularly those who have done things to children, that their lives would be better if they killed themselves before going to prison, rather than actually going to prison. so i dont think prison is as 'easy' as some people think it is.

    Who knows?

What I do know is that for rapists...prison is a very bad thing...they are the vermin and suffer terrible abuse inside.

As for this guy, somehow he managed to stoop lower than the average rapist. Maybe he should have done us all a favour and topped himself.
