It may be worth asking your doctor if this pill, which is a mini pill (it just contains one hormone - progesterone), could be the reason behind your bleeding? Some women find that the mini pill causes them to bleed much more regularly because it is a lower dose than the combined pill - however some may find that they have no periods at all.

Hope that helps but I'm sure the doctor will be able to shed more light on it and help with the cystitis too.

I've been to the Doc's and as for the periods it is because of my pill, so i've just gotta cope with it.
As for the Cystitis, she said it was becuase I was having sex and there was nothing that cud be done about it....I always empty my bladder before sex and wash afterwards so don't quite know what i'm doing wrong.
I dont use any perfume'd soaps allways where cotton knicker and i'll admit that i'm a lover of tight fit skinny jeansbut dont wear them everyday.
I was quite upset as the doctor didn't really listern to a word i was saying and made her own diognosis, she made me feel really cheap that i have sex with my parter, yet didn't know the fact's that we have been together for over a year, we've always used condoms and he's the only person i've ever had sex with.
Still dont quite know what to do. My partner is being great about it, but i'm now scared to risk having sex with him if it means having to take days of work to cope with cystits. :crying:

Maybe book an appointment with a different doctor, you shouldn't have to put up with this. x

What else did you want the doctor to say? They told you what is wrong, didn't they? If you want more help go to a GU clinic or gynae. They might have more advice than a GP.

How wud you feel being in fear of having sex with your partner because u know your body is gonna react badly to it....
....I wonder if your reaction would be a little more sympatheic if you were going through it yourself.
If ya dont have any useful advice to give me, please dont waste my time and patience.

I thought you just said you weren't going to react. Make your mind up.

So my advice was not useful? Go to a specialist who cold deal better with the problem? :chin:

Cranberry can help with UTIs. You can drink cranberry juice or you can take capsules of cranberry powder.

Maybe you should consider a different form of contraception if what you are currently using does not suit you?
