    what is catnip anyway, i always knew what it did to a cat, but is it some kind of feline based psychotropic drug, or what?

    or is it the cat equivalent of a nice fat joint of weed?

    Its the equivelent of weed for cats apparently. Some cats dont react to it. I just tried it on my cat Tich who is usually stand offish and likes to believe he is a hard-nut. He was rolling around on the floor lapping it up.. Was brill!

    Tried it on my cat Tulane and noooothing :(

    I've got two cats, Moppet and Sophie. Moppet never really reacts to it... Sophie goes beserk! Mind you... Moppet is strange enough as it is without it... she's taken to throwing round socks at the moment.

    Yup its legal and safe..Apart from if they eat it..then it makes them poop a lot.

    Did it with mine a while back, he just went crazy.
    The also go crazy with bleach smell as well.

    I remember cleaning a table with some bleach based spray and the cat just went on roll himself on it. Fucking funny.

    My cats love it. We have a catnip plant in our garden which is permanently squished from them rolling in it ;d.

    My grandma had a catnip plant growing in her garden for about 10 minutes. Then her cat ate it. She used to go crazy for her catnip mouse too, from Culpepper.
