Cell phones: T9 vrs ABC

personally i love and use predictive text on my cell phone (what is predictive text: http://www.textfast.t9.com/index1.htm ) but i am wonder what people feel is faster. T9 or ABC (manual)?

    I was disappointed that I had to manually add virtually every swear word into my Nokia :(

    I HATE predictive text, it's so annoying! I prefer ABC.

    I have to do that, my phone sometimes forgets the words too so I end up re-entering them.

    Predictive for me. For some reason of all the profanities I haven't added 'fuck' though.

    You probably typed in some word and then added a bit on, and it somehow added it into the dictionary? Or something! Either that or it's a russian phone.

    I'm a good speller so predictive text for me. Though it can be a bitch when you type "go" and "in" comes up and shit like that.

    What annoys me is, on the sony ericssons, when you type in something that doesn't make a word, it pops up with a message saying "WORD NOT IN DICTIONARY" for about 2 seconds. Which, when you're trying to send a quick txt, is ages!

    Standard abc fo rme, almost never use T9. In fact i don;t know of a single person who actually uses T9 to text :chin:

    After having been forced to use ABC entry on my current phone I can safely say that it's bollocks and I'd use predictive text by preference all the time. There's no comparison in my opinion.

    ABC. I don't text enough to warrant using predictive text, it doesnt bother me. The speed doesnt bother me, if it was that important they would ring me.

    I used to use predictive til I realised how much of a pain Samsungs were to use it on.

    LOL, thats hillarious. I am suprised how many people use T9 :O especially when i heard from my friend that the Cell Companies might drop T9 off the next generation of cell phones. I guess he could be wrong, but he works for cingular.

    I like predictive text. Even though I always end up hating my ducking job. I'll be hoof in a few hours and what not, but its all good. I text when I drive so by now I've got the combinations down.

    glad to see so many people agreeing with me about T9 texting. So many people are always like "No texting is the Devil's work!!@!!@" i never get wtf happened to these people.
