I want that job

The opening for the assistant is open again, gone thru 3 in the last 8 months. I think i'm qualified enough for it. I think I could do it. But I've always believed, unless somebody asks me something, then its not worth going for. Like if they didn't think of me for the position right away, then they dont want me for it. But my parents and boyfriend say I should try, as do people at work. But how do I do it?

doesn't work that way. it would be a matter of asking. either way they hired somebody yesterday so it doesn't matter.

Maybe voice your feelings to a boss/supervisor. Not nessecarily hand in a written application, but just mention that if the position becomes free again, you'd like to be considered, as you feel your could do the job.
