That so sounds like my dad, he has a thing about just hiding away in his study for hours on end and no one dares enter.

Since i turned 16 last week i decided to exercise my rights and bought my first lottery ticket too the other day :D

I'd buy my own house somewhere for the future and a bigger, nicer one for my family and pay off my parents mortgage. Use some of it to pay for Uni. Donate some. Spend some. Save what i had left i guess.

You actually waited till you were 16?

Our local shop sold us them when we were 11 and 12 and all.

We were talking about this at work this morning.
    I would...

See how quickly I could spend £1mil.
Pay off mine and my brother's mortgage/debts.
Pay off my parents and my boyfriend's mam's debts.
Buy me and my boyfriend, my brother and his girlfriend, my mam and da and my boyfriend's mam houses.
Give my dad £166,000 as he keeps saying thats what I owe him for bringing me up :p
Take all my friends on holiday to Hawaii.
Buy the biggest TV I can find to play Blue Shadow on the NES.
    Donate a shitload to charity.
Save a load and live off the interest for the rest of my life.

    ...and play a game:

Each person gets £20,000 and they have 2 hours(?) to spend as much as they can. The person with the least amount of money left at the end of the 2 hours wins the game. Everybody gets to keep their stuff and remaining money and the winner gets another £20,000

    We get bored at work...

    Numbers are:

    9, 15, 21, 40, 49

    1st star 1
    2nd Star 4

    Thats not allowed!
Highstreet shops within a certain distance, limit on how much you can spend on one item and you have to have stuff to show for the money so no going to the pub and drinking it all :p
Those be the rules cause I made up the game heheh!

    Doesn't matter anyway cause I don't have £100 let alone £100mil :(

Wouldn't tax be a big problem for anyone winning that amount of money?

Tax-free to the best of my knowledge.

All gamblings winning are tax-free in this country. Because there is no way that the goverment could enforce it, (as I learnt at college this week).

    I would:
    Donate loads to charity.
Buy my parents, myself and my brother places to live.
Pay off my brothers (student loan and other) debts and best friends debts (overdrafts, loans, mortgages EVERYTHING) (He means that much to me  )
Invest in property (LOTS of property)
Give the charity that runs this place enough to run for a couple of years with no problems/debts.
    Buy a pub
    Lots of travelling

Isnt it nice to see so many people giving to charity.

I would probably do the usual, see family and friends alright, buy a few cars and a house, keep some for the future and give most of it away to charities.

I think there’s a limit to the amount of times that it can roll over because someone would be able to make a profit by purchasing every single possible combination to get the jackpot prize.

Anyway if I win this Friday I’d buy a couple of houses; one in a smart bit of London, Kensington or somewhere. Then one in the country. A few flash cars and a retro classic American Cadillac that consumes far too much petrol. Then I’d buy a few businesses for something to do so I wouldn’t be just sat around all day. I’d make sure close friends and family are properly sorted, leave a fair bit aside as well to satisfy distant relatives and others asking for money. Then I’d give generously to a few particular charities; main two being Oxfam and Toybox charity, although not a Christian and the latter is a Christian charity they do really good work. Oh and I’d remember TheSite too, deffo a good youth charity.

Hmm, I've often thought about what I'd do if I ever won the lotto...not likely seeing as I rarely play, but oh well.

    I would:

Pay off my parents mortgage, buy them a new house and a holiday villa somewhere.
    Give money to my family.
Take all my mates on holiday and a HUGE spending spree.
    Get myself a car.
Not need to worry about student loan etc.
Put money in a trust fund for my bro and sis so that when they are older they will have £££.
Give some to charity, probably cancer research er, samaritans etc.
Plus buy lots of other stuff and save lots.
