Ok, I have a quick question, but i only have 5minutes still i leave and need an answer for my bro before i leave, what is the difference between CL2 and CL: 2.5 can you mix them and use them in the same pc if the speed and size are both the same? eg 256mb DDR 2100 ram?

    Hellfire says:

"Mixed both of them. Put both sticks in. Turned computer on. Kept making juddering noise. Took CL2 stick out. Works fine without it. Any advice?"

I'll be buggered if I know what that means...

in five minutes you could have found out the answer to your question on google, instead of sticking it in the wrong forum. grrr.

If you mix the two cas latencies, the slowest would apply, you'd probably have to set it in the bios to make sure.

Are you insane? You should never do that! It would cause an imbalance in the space-time continium and all the dark matter would rush to the centre of the universe causing a big shrink.
