I'm a Revenue Officer for HMRC.

I'm also at college training to be an accountant and doing my payroll qualifications. Thought it might be best to have the actual qualifications rather than just "qualified by experience"

About a quarter of my course are HMCE, and my college runs proper NVQ payroll course just for them.

Me? I'm a near-enough-full time (32 hours a week), accounts assistant for a group of internet based companies who provide stag and hen weekends, gift experinces and some thing to do with mortgague leads that I dont actually understand. Plus I study one day a week for my NVQ 4 in accountancy.
And I fully quailfy this year! I eventually want to be a self-employed bookeeper/ payroller.

I'm a psychologist and child psychotherapist. I intend to take further studies in the future in the area of social policy and/or public policy. My dream is eventually working as a children's policy maker, especially for underprivileged ones. I've been doing charity work for aaaaaaages too, and love it.
I love my profession but I hated my last job (my boss was shit) so I quit, currently looking for a new job (wish me luck)...

HMCE is Customs and Excise...I'm what was Inland Revenue. Although the departments have merged into HMRC, it's in name only and we don't have anything to do with each other really!

None of my qualifications are paid for/endorsed by work which is a bit of a bummer. There is no business need for us to be accountants / payrollers apparently. I'm doing AAT NVQ3 accountancy, NVQ 4 next year. I do IAB payroll too.

I'm a trainee project worker for a social care organisation, I'm on the graduate scheme so move around the services.

At the moment I'm at a mental health crisis intevention service. After my third placement in Learning Disabilities I want to work in substance misuse as a team leader.

I eventually would like to be an inspector of care homes or within quality at the place I'm at.

I'm doing AAT NVQ3 accountancy, NVQ 4 next year. I do IAB payroll too.

NVQ4 is EVIL, its really hard work and a massive step-up from NVQ3.

Not working at the moment but I mainly specialise in computers and networking. I am doing a home study course to bolster my CV (got the grades but little working experience).

I teach karate part time, though I do this for the perks of my school rather (cheap equipment, free lessons and gradings, free advanced training, christmas bonus ect) than get paid for it.

I also do occulty things time. Tarot. Palmistry. I don't often charge for it but it is a nice side line.

What home course are you doing? My boyfriend has a degree in computer science and would love to go into networking, but is finding getting a job impossible due to his lack of experience as well :(
