Don't do it, because once u learn how to drive you'll get a car - and thats like letting a vacuum cleaner loose in your wallet/bank account

Why? Is either learn to drive or get a flat.

We're looking for someone to write a diary about learning to drive so if any of you decide to learn and are up for seeing your name in lights, drop me a PM ;)

The DVLA are pretty speedy at processing docus. Sent my prov form off a week before my 17th birthday, and was doing a lesson on the day. When i got my licence it only took a week before the day i passed. I've already had to show it once thanks to 2 lady coppers who obviously just wanted to get in the back of my car ;D

    Thanks :)

I got 7 minors and then 2 majors which I didn't even think were that bad but apparently they were. Undue hesitation - I'd rather hesitate than crash :impissed:

True, but sometimes if someone was behind you and they expected you to go then that could cause a crash in itself. Technically their fault of course but still a crash. I guess that is why it is marked down.

Urgh, i HATE that. i failed one test because of that, but the thing is im sure if i'd have gone instead of waiting theyd have probably failed me for pulling out too soon or whatever...
Good luck for next time, it took me 3 goes to pass but i got there in the end -you will too!

Don't worry my boyfriend says it is a fact that people who pass on their second go are better drivers. I'm not sure if it true but he is a very good driver.

The funny thing is, were I to take my test now, I'd probably fail. There is a world of difference between driving to pass your test and driving in the real world.

They say if you take your test on your birthday you fail :p I was gone on my birthday and didn't take it for a week after. Thats why I passed in one go ;) (I dont know if it works like that down there, take the test the day you turn old enough, but oh well)

That sounds true, for a number of reasons.

Don't worry KHSS, if that's why you failed you just need a little more practise to gain confidence. ;)
