Remember I posted in May about my Uni's decision to scrap our student email system?

Well today is the trial run of our new one. A HOTMAIL one, although we have no adverts and we keep our @caledonian.ac.uk address

I think it is a good idea, it is more reliable than a crappy wee uni one and the storage space is greater. As with everything, there are bad points but we will have to see what the future holds.

    Hotmail? Sounds stupid!

    We have Outlook Webmail (https://mail.hud.ac.uk) at Huddersfield. Which works well.

    Yes, we have Outlook Webmail as well over here. Works very smoothly.

    We have First Class at Sheffield Hallam and I also had it at Edinburgh Uni too. It works well at both.

    Hotmail just sounds bizarre.

    Panthro's right. Well, almost :razz:. I've applied to 3 courses in Glasgow Caledonian (Out of 5 choices I made)

    I almost went there myself a few years ago but am now at Northumbria University. I really miss Glasgow though!

    We use Eudora at UCL and my account always seems to have problems so I generally use my hotmail account anyway.
