I hear something similar every time I arrive at London Euston.
Though the last time I was on the train, the speakers didn't work properly, so you'd only hear about half of what was said and had to piece it all together.

I could come provided I have the money, which in February will be unlikely as I don't know when my first pay from my new job will be. March would be better for me.

What are the specifics for this meet? When & where & date?

I'm up for anytime really. How about Saturday 4th March at the Union Rooms (Wetherspoons) it's not too far from the Central Station? http://www.jdwetherspoon.co.uk/pubfinder/details.php?OutletNumber=455

    Our place is bigger;)

I would say NOT the Union Rooms. I know some excellent real ale pubs in Newcastle, and the Union Rooms is not one of them.

I propose the Bodega on Westgate Road, which is next door to the Tyne Theatre and is about a 3 minute walk from the station. We can then progress via the Forth, the Bridge, the Hotspur. We could even end up at the Pig & Whistle:p

Meeting near to the station would be good, like I said I've never been to Newcastle and I don't fancy getting lost.

You left Europcar off that map Kermit :p

This is the 10.57 TransPennine Express service to Newcastle, calling at Warrington Central, Birchwood, Manchester Oxford Road, Manchester Piccadilly, Stalybridge, Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Leeds, Garforth, Thirsk, Northallerton, Darlington, Durham, Chester-le-Street and Newcastle.

JsT are you still changing trains at York? Let me know and I will get the same train!
  • Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
This is the 15.22 First Bollocks service to Scarborough, calling at Warrington Central, Birchwood, Manchester, Stalybridge, Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Leeds, Cross Gates, garforth, east garforth, york, malton, seamer and scarborough. this train is approximately 76 minutes late, due to the wrong type of train operator.

Liverpool trains don't run to Newcastle anymore lololllololol.

I shall update the map just for JsT.

I also propose we all go to the Ho Buffet for scran.
