Story here

Just because the promoters cant afford to pay that greedy swince Eccelstone the money to host it.

I hope he's happy, one of the best and most historic races on the Formula 1 calender is not on just because he wont get any money.

Formula 1 should be owned by the fans.

I remember a race there a few years back when it was raining and there were crashes all over the place. My fondest memory of that track :D

I love the belgian track the have been some great races. I still remember when Hill won in the Jordan when there was about 5 cars left, and the were all for the lower classed teams

I remember that race, there was just one massive crash that took out so many cars wasn't there? I remember Murray Walker was going crazy on the commentary too. Was Hill racing for Jordan or Arrows in that race?

It's a shame to drop Spa, it was one of the best tracks :(

Spa is widely regarded as the best and most important racetrack in F1.

I hope things can be solved at the last minute. There is no excuse for this really. It's not as if there wasn't cash around in the sport...

    Yep.

Have you see Ecclestone's wife? Eugh.

Still, I would love to see that man getting jailed for his business practices, getting arse-raped every night by some scally called Jason.

Do you think the drivers should have more say in what tracks are used?
I dont understand why he needs $50 million for the privilidge of once of the best tracks in the world.

The only thing I can say is that Bernie Ecclestone looks after Bernie Ecclestone. And Formula One suffers because of it.

Why don't they just come out and say there'll be no Formula One this year at all because Bernie's taken all the money?

Problem is all these Asian tracks like Malasyia and Bahrain etc have tons of money thrown at them by their governments, hence the traditional tracks get fucked over.

Why does F1 deserve financial support from governments?
