Does anyone know if GHDs work on Afro-ish hair? I'm mixed race, with super curly hair but not in the afro way as such but thick and curly enough that I can't have it out loose. I keep hearing GHDs are great but does anyone know personally or of a friend with mixed race hair/afro that they've worked for?

    My best advice to you would be to ask at your stylist as they should be able to reconmend products and straighterners that will work on your hair type.

    ghd Salon Styler GHD recconmends them for use on "thicker hair, including Afro-Caribbean", so they should be ok for you to use.
