Almost as funny as Celtic losing, but not quite.

Good to see that the ref gave ManYoo everything. Getting away with (yet another) nail on penalty, how strange.
Beep boop. I'm a bot.

Oh, I'm crying into my cup of tea after seeing Spurs throw away a 2-0 lead to lose.

I'm so terribly gutted. I love Spurs. Maybe.

Oh, I hate Tottenham Hotspur, despise them, and that has well and truly made my evening. IT was wonderful entertainment, and to top it all, one of my best mates is a Fox, she's well chuffed.

"Spurs aren't on their way to Wembley, they're gonna win fuck all again."

Another year off for Chaz and Dave.

10 times better than the United result.

    Huh?

Two first team regulars in Silvestre and O' Shea and the rest were either bit time players, kids, or in Solksjaer's case someone making his second appearance in nearly two years...

They played badly and Burton defended well.

NB Kermit, stop wearing your beer goggles when you watch United play. They seem to affect your ability to understand the rules of the game. It isn't an offence for united to tackle player in the penalty area.

Even the BBC and Sky thought it was a penalty.

Great to see Solskjaer back playing, I have to say.
  • Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
Oh well in that case obviously it was a stone wall penalty. I mean, they have a much better grasp of the laws of the game. [/the lowest form of wit]

Remind me, how many of the pundits are qualified referees?

I look forward to the monday morning debates between Kermit and MoK every week, I really, really do! It's normally more entertaining than the weekend's football to be honest.

I only caught the 2nd half of the game, and United were playing reasonably well. I had to take my hat off to the Burton defense though, and the last minute save by their goaly. As I said to my mate who was riling me at full time, good on them, a trip to The Theatre will do them good financially, even if their campaign has to end there.

How many of them have played the game at the highest level?

It was a penalty, face facts. It's a brave (i.e. stupid) ref who gives a pen against ManYoo in a game like that. If it'd been down the other end, it'd have been given.
