    Erm there are a few couples here. There's a few girls I reckon I'd definately go out with but none I'd want to have a relationship with, mainly because I haven't met them face to face.

    Yes, you will get some weirdos on the internet but you get as many weirdos in a club or wherever else you care to meet people. Meeting people over the internet gets a lot of bad media coverage but I don't think it is any different to meeting someone any other way. And you wouldn't just meet them after talking to them once. You would chat, exchange photos, exchange numbers and then if everything is still hunky dory after that you would meet them in a busy place. Simple as.

    There have been loads of topics on meeting people from the internet.

    EDIT: in response to the OP, there are a few couples on here and some are engaged too.

    now obviously id say this, but theres nothing freaky about meeting people on the internet. i find it odd when people say they have an internet partner theyve never met (whats the point without kissing and cuddling?), but making friends on this thing and taking it into real life is certainly not freaky at all.

    of course, you sometimes make internet friends you dont like in real life, for whatever reason, but hey.

    i hope we have another thesite wedding soon. and id better be invited.

    As my_Name says, mist and Little Missy got married about a month after GWST and I did.

    We were the first to marry. The first TheSite baby belongs to Tweety, as the father is Marmite who posted here way back when.

    Well i am seeing someone i meet on here and i wouldn't know them if it wasn't for thesite but they don't post anymore and i hardly post anyway so i doubt that would count.
