Like Mr Kentish said - which course? I'm a medic at UCL and I think Piccolo attends too. When I went it was mostly about the course and not the uni itself, but I'll be happy to answer any questions you have.

No one applies for maths, you'll definitely get in as long as you're not a complete muppet.

Swot up on some mathsy type stuff and come up with a good reason for why you want to study at UCL.

Is dr_carter a doctor nowadays too?

They rejected me, cruelly. They're loss though, I think you'll agree.

Are you a chronic alcoholic? If so, you'd have fitted in amazingly.

    Getting there...

Not good enough. George's requires 'inebriated' to be the normal state of being, with 'sober' being the state you enter on special occasions, i.e. exam time...

Exams are much more enjoyable when drunk. Of course it does increase the chances of failing, especially OSCEs, but life's a gamble eh?

My current halls mate plans to attempt 'spiders' right before his OSCE...

i.e. drink seven pints in an hour, one of which should be done in under seven seconds...

well, that's the idea - he's aiming for sub-3 minuter for all seven...

Ah Georges, longest uni bar in the country :yum: It was going to be my first choice but I changed my mind at the last minute to RUMS.

I will swop you anyone for our Histology professor... Christ, she must be the most boring woman on the planet!

Indeed, longest uni bar, finest in the land... and a Trust that's currently £25 million in debt.

    How did it go?

I go to UCL too and do Physical Sciences and have done several courses in the maths department (as does Wheresmyplacebo- he does chemistry with maths)

Who interviewed you? If you can remember that is...

That was my maths lecturer last year! He is really nice.

I won't lie to you- UCL is a tough academic environment. I find it rather challenging. The social life is great here if you have time for it. Living in central London is great.

PM me if you have any specific questions or any thing else you thing I may be able to help you with :)
