    There is nothing wrong with IT. They are not boring, and it pays very good ;)

    Yeah I know but it's certainly got a nerd-like image attached to it....sometimes :D

    Anyway, I'm a technical operator for a commercial radio station which means I 'drive' the desk when the presenter is out on an outside broadcast etc. Also when you listen to Hit 40 UK on a sunday, it's obviously a networked programme and they need someone to babysit the controls while the transmission goes out. That's one of my duties :D

    The idea for this thread came to me when I once told someone what I do and she said "You don't look like you work at a radio station" :crazyeyes
