Very rarely is it that I start threads about 'omg, dis bnd is so wckd uv gtta here vem' but I'm genuinely intrigued as to how many people have heard of Mr. Bungle.
They're quite old - to put some perspective on it, their vocalist, Mike Patton, left them to be the vocalist of Faith No More just before FNM hit the big time so we're talking late 80's early 90's. He continued to work with Bungle making some of the strangest and most eccentric music I've ever heard. Their self-titled album, which in my opinion is the best, is like a circus metal fusion. A bit like System of a Down but with more brass section. It's utterly fantastic. I highly suggest you download some.

Merry Go Bye Bye is a great song. Not off the self-titled album though but still a cracking tune.
They do great Mario Bros and Tetris remixes.

And yes, I have seen bungle's twanger. Zippy's is Big and Red though, so wins.
The bassist is the best musician in the band. He was classically jazz-trained but managed to be completely awesome for Bungle.
