If you are taking paracetamol as well the caffiene will make it work faster. Not that paracetamol is any good for headaches in my experience.

Do you have sugar in your tea? Maybe its a lack of blood sugar that causes the headache and the sugar in your tea gets it back on track again...

I know what you mean. I was one of those couple pots of coffee a before noon at work people. Come the weekends I would just have a horrid headache until I had some coffee.

I found out, just take some tylenol (headache medicine, pain killer, whatever) when it happens, have zero coffee and in about a week its gone. Now, on average, I only have about a cup a week.

These headaches come a lot more often if you have trouble with bone angles in your head and other things. You can make them fade away though. Stress etc are factors too.

I was at the ordontology department today and found out that everything's fine except for the position of my teeth - they are one tooth slot forward than what they should be.

there's always an except or a but :(

When I was pregnant and didnt want to be popping pills for a headache I used to have a cup of tea and it always helped.

Hot baths used to help too.

    A cuppa helps almost anything.
    daughter/son : "Mum I've just been dumped"
Mum: Have a cup of tea it'll make you feel better"
    haha.

If the headaches are stress related then taking a break and sitting down with a nice cup of tea could help reduce the stress and this could be what's helping your headaches.
