Snap - it is not 'gheto' by any means, its use stems from a card game where two players split the pack between them and then in turn lay down a card. When a player lays a card down which is the same number or face then the first player to shout 'snap' wins. From there its use has moved on to general use whenever two people have the same of something, in this case 'gay' rating.
