A mate of mine is doing philosophy at bcollege... reading through his text book just noticed some disturbing things that apparently we all do.

We all fancy our mothers and/or fathers at one point of our lives.

We all have sexual tendencies towards the other sex

We all have sexual fantasies about our brothers/sisters

loads more but wont sicken u with them at this point

    Sounds positively Freudian. He was convinced that everyone's problems boiled down to fancying their mother. Is it "the interpretation of dreams"?

    Lots of philosophers think that everyone is attracted to the opposite sex at least once in their lives, what do you think? Anyway, what's the book called?

    Seriously though, I have most certainly NEVER fantasised about my sister. Step-brother...well, let's not go down that road again!

    I can honestly say that my beer-swilling, pot-bellied father is not in the least bit attractive, and my mother could definitely do with a bit of reconstruction.

    As for fancying the opposite sex, no. I mean sure, I can look at Caprice with a certain interest, but I have to say, the testosterone thang is what floats my boat <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/wink.gif"&gt;

    Yep Caliph. Its weird because today at college we just started learning about Freud, then I come home and find this post on the board <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"&gt; I must admit it sounds a bit twisted. He believes that everyone goes through pyschosexual stages like the anal stage and oral stage, stuff like that!

    Er ... well, OK then. Well, we broke up for a while there, because the whole 'step' thing was all getting a bit too much, y'know. We were still friends and everything, and I started going out with his mate (wow, nice one Chica!) But then I realises that said mate was a total bastard and after some convincing, I'm back with Paul. No-one knows though.
