Need hair style ideas (male)

So having finally accepted I can't pull off the emo hair style and the fact that everyone says they hate my hair I've decided to get it cut. I'd like some ideas (and pics) of what to do with it. I just want to try something different as I usually just have it really short but I'm not sure what would suit my face.

    Erm, why not just get the hint of a flick at the front, but messy everywhere else?

    Agreement over here - long enough to mess up with some gel/wax and then a tiny bit longer at the front to flick up at bit - but not too much unless you wanna lok like the Fonz

    You say that you normally have it short so I'm guessing that you didn't have your hair cut so you could grow it? Recipe for disaster dude. I had years of letting my hair grow long then having it hacked back to a number three by a village barber specialising in up-and-over old man cuts. GEt a pro to style it to whatever suits the way your hair falls. have a look on the Toni & Guy website:

    I think either the second or the last styles here (on the site that bluesneakerben posted) would quite suit you.
