Woman to man violence (although I appreciate it can be serious at times) is not, in general terms, just as bad as vice versa. Putting the genital-attacking aside, in the majority of situations men are physically stronger than women, so they therefore have an unfair and dangerous advantage.
Although I maintain that all blokes are basically sex-obsessed bastards with the excpetion of derby <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/wink.gif"> I'm in favour of equal rights. Which is why I still think my friend did the fair thing my stomping on his balls. Now he makes an effort to be generous to our group when she's around, he no longer swears at small children or blows smoke in to OAPs' faces.

First of all, path2eternity, please don't expect me to bring the 'Stiletto Method' talk to a cease when you're waffling on about physical violence, rape, and murder. One swift kick to crown jewels does not constitute killing someone, and if you would do that then I suggest you get help. And, if every man WOULD do that then it sort of proves my point about all men being bastards, doesn't it?!
Secondly, the stomping has been taken severely out of context, if you had all read more closely it was a mate who did it, and as for the retaliation thing, according to her he was too busy writhing in pain to kill her.
GwaiMui, for every decent bloke you meet (I confess, I know some too) there is another one who does a mean bastard impression. Let's not forget all rapists, murderers, wife-beaters, paedophiles, OAP attackers and generally horrible people there are in the world. If we're talking about crime, then there are a lot of women who need a good punishment too.

Having been a victim of sexual abuse as a child and a victim of a violent relationship as an adult in a past relationship I think I am entirely aware that some men are sick bastards. I certainly have had my eyes opened in my journey through life.

We should not make light of perpetrating an attack on anyone of any gender whatever our gender is. Even if it is just for a laugh. You have to realise that ppl can be sensitive about these things.
If a guy is beat and terrorised by his wife he is called a 'Hen-Pecked Husband' and everyone takes the piss out of him.
If a woman is beat and terrorised by her husband it is a completely different story.
This is just terrible. Just remember that men can be victims too. Lets not generalise and lets try to be a bit more sensitive.
