didnt know where to put this, will butter be ok to eat if its been left out of the fridge for 24 hours or a little more? i want a sandwich :(

    i'm sure my mum keeps butter in a little china box thing in the cupboard...

    When i was living at home we always kept the butter in the bread bin, cause if we kept it in the fridge it was too hard to use.

    margarine can be left out for ages before it goes off. there's so little nutritional value in it bacteria just doesn't grow there.

    mm come to think of it same here, but at home the dodgy fake butter stuff (that u get in a little plastic box) was always in the fridge so I wanted to make sure :P
