What instrumental artists do you like and recommend we all check out?

I'd say I like a lot of the Kenny G versions of famous songs.

and also Latin / Spanish Guitar music from Marc Antoine

And any of the orchestra versions of the James Bond Theme Songs.

Have you heard any of their side projects and would you rate them?

A Silver Mount Zion have done some great stuff, although some of their vocal tracks can grate a bit. "This is Our Punk Rock", "Born Into trouble As The Sparks Fly Upward" and "He Has Left Us Alone But Shafts Of Light Sometimes Grace The Corner Of Our Rooms..." are all excellent.

    Joe Satriani
    Yngwie Malmsteen
    Django Reinhardt

Miles Davis, of course. Especially 'In a Silent Way' which is an absolute gem.

I quite like George Benson's instrumental stuff, too.
