I'm looking into getting some new albums, and I'd like some suggestions of what's reasonably new and good out there. I'm open to most genre's, rock, pop, dance etc. though I'm a bit out of touch with music currently! Thanks in advance.

Get Behind Me Satan. That's a brilliant album, it's the latest, and best, in my opinion at least.
And, not to purposely disagree with you, but I prefer Mezmerize over Hypnotize, it has so many more good songs on it.
