10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 ........
no wonder they have so many rocket launch failures!
if it hasn't lifted off by zero ...its failed.
the solution ...so there are never ever any more lift off failures ...start at one and count upwards.
1 2 3 4 ....we don't mind if the rocket lifts off on a count of ....one million four hundrd and eighty two ...one million four hundred and eighty three ...at least it won't have failed so avoiding such dissapointment.

...and wouldn't it make more sense in boxing to count down?
