i was wonder what a number 1,2,3 or however many numbers there are, means when youre at a barbershop? can someone give me the low down?

The number geneally means the grade that they shave to when they're using clippers. A Grade 1 is really really really short, and as the numbers get longer so does the hair. I dunno if it refers to milimetres or how long each number is but I know a grade 6 still isn't v. long because my friend recently had a 6 and I'd still describe him as shaven
