    Welcome....!
Most reputable tattoists condemn the tattooing of hands, face and neck... God knows who tattooed you :eek2:

I used lots of EMLA cream so it was bearable.

Tattoo's need to be small, classy and in a place which isnt obvious, I'm afraid I think yours is none of those.

not to be horrible, but it kinda looks like a tribal christmas tree....

Come on guys, give the girl a chance, she's only just signed up, made one post, and so far the majority of people have flamed her to death. A tattoo is a personal choice, once that is with you for ever, so as long as you like it, that's what counts. Kudos for getting one on one of the most painful places too. :)

My flatmate has a tattoo of a compass (I think) on the top of her foot. I'd like something on my back.

What an awful tat. I wonder how many weeks it will be before you regret it?

The back heals quite slowly moonrat... and is a quite painful place to have done. Especially anywhere near shoulderblades and spine... trust me:

Man....some of you guys can really flame the girl. poor girl.

The tatoo is alright, its what you like at the end of the day. I used to do my own henna on my hands and feet a while back.

I dont think it is 'flaming' though, she posted the pictures knowing full well we would give our opinion.

None of us have made nasty comments really, we have just said what we felt about the tattoo.

If one of us had said 'only tramps get tattoos, you're a dirty filthy tramp' then that would be 'flaming'. But just saying 'I dont like it' and 'you'll have trouble getting a job' is just saying your opinion.

Well, if you are going to go through the whole thread and selectively quote people you can always find something which sound bad.

It is kind of a recurring theme shown throughout the majority of this thread though... dont you think?

I wasnt nasty, others were a little coarse perhaps, but not really rude as such.

Never said you were, was just commenting on the fact that the majority of replies here have been, as you put it "coarse"

Have to agree that this looks more like it's painted on than tattoed on. Some of the 'black ink' looks patchy but that might just be the light. And as for the colours they don't look solid enough for coloured ink.

And for the recod I also don't like the look of it. Not because it's on the hand but the coloured dots make the tribal design look, I don't know, cheap? Tacky?

    But hey  welcome :)
