WORRIED SICK!!!

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
I need some help. About a week ago, my girlfriend and i had sex, and i wore a condom, and she has been on the pill consistently not missing a day for about 2 months now. But ever since we had sex last week, she has been complaining of cramps and stomach aches, and nausea, and has been thinking she is pregnant. With this condom i wore it had spermicidal lubricant on it, so i would think with all these precautions we wouldn't have a problem, right? she has been under alot of stress since i went on vacation, and she missed me, could this be more related on stress, or what? please please help me stop worrying

Get a home pregnancy test done...
You've played it safe so far, so keep doing so. If it comes up negative bring her along to her GP, it coulb be the effects of taking the pill. In some cases it can have nasty side effects.
Don't dismiss it whatever you do, just make damn sure that your not about to be a daddy.
Hope it all gets sorted in the best possiable way,

Go to a doctor or the nearest family planning clinic and put your minds at rest.

Hey, chill out. She wouldn't start feeling ill after ONLY a week of you both doing it, it would take her atleast 3 weeks to get the sicky feeling. Shes probably just eaten something that didn't agree or shes been stressed out as you mentioned. If you're still worried about all of this, tell her to see her doctor as just a general check up, all the doc will do is feel her stomach and your gf won't even have to mention you both had sex, unless the doc does discover something thats related to the sex. (but don't worry I doubt that its pregnancy)

after all the precautions it shouldn't happen. but accidents does happen with the pill and the condom and even both together. life's not fair and we all gotta live with it.

hope that ur ok anyway, don't worry too much until your g/f has done a test...it may be negative and u realise u were losing sleep over nothing. goodluck!

its rare but possible that she may be pregnant. condoms are 98% effective if used correctly and the pill is about 99%. so with them both together, there's not much of a risk, but its still there.

oh an important point to consider... you cant do a home pregnancy test until the day her period is due. i THINK ones at the doctors can be done before, but that they're not so accurate until her period's actually late.

so good luck anyway

Some women are sensitive to spermicides and lubricants.
Sickness don't start that early but the pill can make you queezie.
I get sick and crampy before I'm due on.
Also if you had sex in the first part of her cycle she probably wouldn't have ovulated anyway.
