Straight men and their Dildos

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
Howz this for an interesting post?

How many straight men do you know that have there own dildos? This is a randomly taboo subject!! I have to admit I have five or so but I am straight!! I just enjoy the pentration.

I never did tell my girlfriend about em but I got her to do me with a strapon about a year ago and she didnt think much of it and claimed it was unfair because she never go any pleasure from it properly and just preferred doing it the 'normal' way.

Now I am forced to hide these toys from her knowing she didnt want anything to do with it all. I just think of them as aids and I only use them about once a month when shes not around by myself. As our relationship continues I keep getting paranoid she'd find them but tell myself its silly cos its not like i'm cheating on her.

What r your thoughts?? Its a weird one I know. Any advice? I've tried throwing them away but theres one or two I cant part with. And I h8 that so many of em are pink :S

Please tell me i'm not the only guy with this problem.

I hate to say this but i think you already know that you are not in the right relationship. What you like doing can be looked at as kinky but there are girls out there who understand what your into and would enjoy taking part to pleasure you, so you wouldnt feel the need to hide your toys. Instead it would be part of your shared sex life.
I think you will find that out over time and by experimenting with other people.
Maybe try the bondage scene, its a bit more open minded and accepting.

I dont think I could end a relationship with someone because they are not kinky enough. It is my love which keeps me with her. She was understanding enough to open up and share my fantasy but it wasnt for her. Theres no need to punish her for that, surely?

No your right, and im sorry if i offended you, but i think its sad that you have to hide your stuff. If you are both comftable then i wouldnt think tht youd need to do that just as she is honest enuff to tell you tht she isnt into that stuff.

i can understand that there wasn't much pleasure from her using a strap-on to be honest! there is no reason why you shouldn't talk to her though and see if you can in some way incorporate it into your foreplay. there are other anal stimulation toys available to use together. she may be more accepting if you aren't foresaking her pleasure too. lots of straight men enjoy the feeling of anal stimulation, its ust not widely disscussed.

Yes I suppose. I'd just rather keep it to myself, its just like masturbating, its just better by yourself sometimes.

keeping it to yourself is fine too, but you might find it easier to talk to her and tell her you respect its not her thing but that you will still keep them for yourself. that way you won't feel you have to hide them from her....unless of course you are finding that is part of the excitement.

Ok tell me if i get this wrong...

You're a guy going out with a girl?
You have dildo's that you use to give yourself anal penetration?
She put on a strap-on and performed intercourse on you?

and she didnt understand, well like doing it...

Ok if all above is correct, i can see her point in not liking it but mine opinion would be different to what she thought. My ex had ALOT of porn on his computer but i never got annoyed with it. But if he had dildo's (he might have done i never saw them though) i think i would wonder why he is with me ... but he did like putting my vibrator against his balls.... but he never bought one...

Do you not feel that you may be bi-sexual?

Im only asking coz recently i came to a conclusion that i am bi-sexual whilst i enjoy sex with a man the thought of a woman licking me out and pleasuring me is more of turn on for me.

    In conclusion to your post:
i would feel odd if my man had a dildo let alone 5 but people are different maybe im being simple minded but thats how i feel. Dont hide them but dont make a big deal out of them...

A man enjoying a dildo up his arse is no indication that he may be gay or bisexual ... its a very stimulating sensationa and give a mind-blowing orgasm .... why should this experience be limited to non-straight men?

Well I like the thought of being licked out by a woman rather than a man, my question was based on my own preferences.

I never once said or indicated it should be limited to gay or bi-sexual people....

The only men ive known whove had their own dildos were either gay or bisexual.
Ive known straight men to like bottom play, but not to go so far as to buy their own dildos.
Be careful it doesnt turn into a fetish, it should be a bit of extra fun, not something you cant get turned on without.

lots of women do, it doesn't mean they are bisexual. the thought of it is a turn on because of a psychological term called 'projection'. actually going through with it is much different.

do you like the idea of performing oral sex on a woman as much as you like the idea of having it done to you?

Lots of straight men have dildos

I'm a straight married man who has never had sex with another man, never wanted to, and I have dildos that I use on my anus. I've read enough on the internet to understand that there are lots of men like me. Enjoying anal penetration has nothing to do with sexual orientation.
That said, I would advise the original poster that his girlfriend might enjoy using a toy called a Feeldoe. It's a double ended dildo with a special shape. The woman inserts one end in her vagina and the other end projects out in the same direction as an erect penis. She can also wear a strap-on harness if she wants to keep it from coming out. Either way, she can fuck her man up the ass and also enjoy the movement inside her. They also have a vibrator in the woman's end for further stimulation. So she can have an orgasm while giving her man what he wants--anal plunging like she has a penis, and prostate stimulation that will give any man the thrill of his life.

They should release a 70s British glam rock version called 'Cum On Feeldoe Noize'

Worth checking the date before you post, this thread has been dragged up from 2005 so I'm going to close it now.
