I went to see the Offspring the other night, which was really good.
Im going to see Joan Armatrading next month with my mum which im reeeeeeaally looking forward to, and then going to see foo fighters in december :yippe:

What gigs have you been to recently or have you got any good ones coming up?

    I wasnt particularly impressed with Alkaline Trio at Reading though.

    They're always less impressive when playing towards apathy :p

    I prefer smaller gigs/shows as they're more intimate.

    They're my favourite band of all time, lol.

    I saw them last October in Manchester at the Apollo... right at the front - they were absolutely amazing. I'd kill to see them again, but they're playing the Arena in Manchester and the venue is far too big for them to be enjoyed, I think. Bring back the smaller venues!

    youre probably right. I didnt know any of the songs, and sometimes I have to hear stuff a few times before I get to like it.
    Its a sign of a really good band when you love stuff as soon as you hear it though.

    Its The Used, Funeral For A Friend, Killswitch Engage, Rise Against, Story Of The Year...and some more I can't remember, so it should be good.

    I also saw Goldie lookin chain, the streets, oasis, franz ferdinand, prodigy and scissor sisters at V.
    I then saw NOFX, Iggy pop, Incubus, Marilyn Manson and Iron Maiden at Reading.

    It was pretty good wasnt it. It was better than I expected. Was well pleased to get 2 tickets off ebay for £20 :)

    I'm also going to see Athlete in November. Yes, three times in one year. Nowt wrong with that ;p.

    Was a good gig i thought, being in a warehouse and all, the sound wasnt overly bad!
