Sore Lips

The corners of my mouth have become really sore, very dry and red. What sort of stuff shoudl i put on and when shoudl it clear up.

    Do you have any idea why your lips are like that - no infection or anything? If they're dry, sore and red due to the soreness then I know how you feel as I get that all over my lips.

    All I can suggest that I like to use it Superdrugs own 'medicated lip balm' - it's light blue and it does contain menthol which mean it gives a tingly sensation when you put it on - it moisturises and heals the lip and I've noticed considerable diferences over night.

    blistex the one in the tube is great for me use it every night
    and carmex other times both really good but blistex clears up my sores when i get them

    Sounds like cold sores to be honest,if it's just in the corners. Get yourself some Zovirax :thumb:

    If all else fails, Boots do an amazing lip care balm thing,which I can't find on the website but it costs a pound and is in a white tube. It's really good and lasts ages! :yes:
