Just wondering if any of you guys know about being eligable for any type of funding, my situation:

21 years old
In full time education (at college)
Living with parents
Parents earn over 25k a year

Now i'm too old to recieve ema and i wont be able to receive job seekers allowance because im studying more than 16 hours a week but surely there should be some type of grant or fund for people in my situation, i've managed so far by working part time jobs and off hand outs from my parents but im nearly always skint because working only part time at weekends or evenings doesnt really bring in that much cash.
I could get a student loan - true, but i'd rather not and i shouldnt be forced to (plus imagine the size of it when im still at college and if i want to get a degree it means about 4/5 more years of education)

is anyone else in the same boat? how do you get by with costs of travel etc..

go and speak to a student finance advisor at your college.
they will be able to tell you exactly what grants / loans / etc are avaliable for people in your situation.
