Whitbread is looking for next young community star

Whitbread has launched a national search for the next young star of community projects, with over £10,000 worth of prizes up for grabs, together with a unique package of “money can’t buy” opportunities. The lucky star achiever could even produce a BBC radio show!
Open to anyone aged between 16 and 25, the Whitbread Young Community Achiever is one of four Young Achiever Awards celebrating the outstanding achievements of young volunteers in four categories – arts, community, environment and sport.
The four lucky winners will each receive a cash prize of £2,000 for personal and project development, £250 in leisure vouchers and a unique year-long programme of opportunities that money just can’t buy.
The closing date for entries is 15 July 2005. Further details and a nomination form can be downloaded from www.whitbreadyoungachievers.co.uk, or by calling 0800 904 7447.
