GCSE results

When the GCSE results are published i will be on holiday someone said that i have to send in a S.A.E for my school to send home my results, i understood that part but then what about the actual GCSE certificates themselves, how or when do i get those? when you pick up your results is it just a bit of paper saying what you've got?

    My school did a presentation evening, which was nice, each school will do it differently, but however they do it, your certificates will arrive long after your results to allow for the appeal period to pass.

    i would've thought you would've let the school know by now?

    i know you can sometimes get a friend to collect them but they need written consent off you.
