Co-Op merging??

I've heard talks of the Co-op merging with another company. I work for the food store, but only a few hours a week. I was planning on quitting in September to concentrate on my post graduate degree. There are talks of redundancies. If i hold on and get made redundant, how much will they pay me as a severance package? I work only 6 hours a week, but i've been there 4 years.
