Don't blame me Renzo. Incompetent and corrupt African politicians are more to blame than me.
If you mean western (white) elites are entirely to blame - but African elites are entirely blameless, I assume you're racist or stupid.

You seem to think that workers have a choice as to whether they can accept wages. You also seem to think that employers have a right to make as much profit as they want and fuck the workers.

I didn't say that, but our countries set the ball rolling and most likely chose the African leaders. Don't you dare call me a rascist, or stupid for that matter.

Of course, if you did get any decent african leaders our leaders would blow them sky fucking high asap.

And you seem to think that they don't. Weird, innit. Theres always a choice.

As a libertarian (socialist ;) ) you should recognise that the best way for the chinese to develop their economy is by undercutting competition. Hopefully these guys still have jobs producing these bands coz they'd be considerably impoverished if production went elsewhere.

Yea I think workers have that choice - and employers have that right.

The was white western powers that went into Africa and divided it up the way it is without any consideration for the African people. Then when they left they just left it to go down the pan.

Is that a proof that it is 'our' fault?

    No.

Those Warlords would be there anyway wouldn't they?

    True yes

But sticking to the topic, you suggested that African poverty was 'our' fault.

This suggest you think there would be no poverty in Africa if it weren't for us?

That is obviously bollocks, anybody that thinks Africa would be rich and prosperous but for the 'evil corporations' etc is delusional..........

Of course not, the warlords are to blame also, but its not like we have done anything to help the situation. We just sit back and let Mugabe do what he wants for example.

Yes but this is utterly different to stating as you did that things were 'our fault'

    Isn't it?

Urg. Probably the best reason to lessen the 'special relationship' yet.
